Daniel Craig Wants Jane Seymour Back in Bond-age
by Scott Weinberg | February 23, 2007
Discuss Article
Jane Seymour made for a pretty striking Bond girl when she appeared in "Live and Let Die" -- which was way back in 1973. But 007 star Daniel Craig doesn't care that the gal's 57 years old. She's still quite beautiful -- and apparently Danny wants her back for "Bond 22."

Says Mr. Craig: "Casino Royale was about early Bond and I love the idea of him revisiting his past and meeting up with ex-loves... That has to include Jane Seymour. I'm a huge fan, I thought she was fantastic."

Apparently the actor will be lobbying his producers to get Ms. Seymour on the phone. It wouldn't be the first time an actress played a Bond babe twice. (Maud Adams was in "The Man with the Golden Gun" and "Octopussy.")

I like J.S. but I think this might be going a bit far. Playing an ex bond babe in the new bond film? Maybe they can maker her one of the villians.

What does that even mean?

Daniel Craig is one motor-boating son of a bitch.

Anyone wondering what 57 year-old Jane Seymour looks like just revist "Wedding Crashers"; she's 'Kitty-Kat'.

How can he visit his ex's if CR was a continuity re-boot?

...

Bizzare!

Kitty-Kat. Helen Mirren could be a good Bond woman: I got kind of sick of Roger Moore in his 60's lusting after 20 year-old airheads. A mature bond woman could be a good thing for the franchise.

Bond doesn't have a past to revisit! That's what happens when you do a prequel you start all over! If they wanted to bring back old characters they should have done a sequel but to late now! Anyways I don't want to revisit Live And Let Die it was too crappy.

As best I can figure I think he meant as they progress thru Bonds new storyline since they started over it might be fun to bring back some old faces like Jane Seymour. Presumably to play new characters. The article could have been a lot clearer. Otherwise I'm with you guys it makes no sense. Unless of course Craig has mastered time travel, but I think if he'd done that he would have went back in time and killed Timothy Dalton.
