Yep, "Little Fockers"
by Scott Weinberg | February 26, 2007
Blog Article | Discuss Article
Isn't it hilarious how "Fockers" sounds so much like a rrrrreally dirty word? So funny, in fact, that the gag is about to inspire its second film! Expect the whole silly gang to return for a movie called (wait for it) "Little Fockers." (LOL!!!!)

Seems that director Jay Roach will be back at the helm, and Universal aims to bring the whole cast back for more: Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand...

Matter of fact, the only person who doesn't seem to be returning is screenwriter John Hamburg. Taking his place will be Larry Stuckey, a first-time screenwriter who actually used to be Jay Roach's assistant. Yep, it's like that. Kinda like when Mel Gibson's former hair stylist directed "Paparazzi."

For those who might be wondering why we "need" another movie to follow "Meet the Parents" and "Meet the Fockers," I offer the following number: $850 million. That's about what both movies did in combined global box office.

It will end up being full of tired jokes and a thin plot.

Et tu, DeNiro?

instead of being in crap like this, can't you do more work behind the camera? i heard The Good Shepherd was outstanding. do more of that, Mr. DeNro and leave hack comedies like these to Steve Martin.

"The Good Shepherd" was deadly dull, but it was sure better than "Meet the Fockers". Well, can only do what any angry moviegoer can do... vote with his wallet. I'm too tired to start a revolution.

Meet the Fockers is one of the worst films I have ever seen. What a sad state of affairs this is, the entire cast and crew all taking one huge dump in unison to give us another steaming pile that can only be described as a complete insult to the intelligence of movie-goers who actually have intelligence (basically, anyone who enjoyed Meet the Fockers needs a labotamy).
