Seven and A Half Minutes of "Spider-Man 3" Goodness, Available Now!
Did you catch last night's special "Spider-Man 3" trailer on NBC during "Heroes?" Well, you can still log on to view the seven and a half minute "Spider-Man 3" preview for clips of at least four scenes from the flick, including the action-packed aerial battle between Peter Parker and The New Goblin. See the flipbook here!
Last night's alternative trailer (shown during a semi-revealing episode of "Heroes," before what will be a miserable month and a half-long hiatus) focused on a showdown between former pals Peter Parker and Harry Osborn, fighting midair between skyscrapers. NBC promised more content online, and did they deliver: Spidey fans have over seven minutes of clips to sink their teeth into -- at least for the next ten or so hours, since the preview expires tonight at 9pm PST.

Watch the preview for a variety of snippets, including more of the lovey-dovey web stargazing scene with Mary Jane and Peter shown in the trailers; an extended clip of Peter announcing his intention to propose to MJ with Aunt May; the minutes-long aforementioned cityscape battle between Peter and Harry Osborn/New Goblin (definitely worth a look for some awesome effects!); more shots of the Venom alien; and a few peeks at baddie #3, Sandman.

"Spider-Man 3" slings its way into theaters (and IMAX) May 4, 2007. Who's excited?

TitusCosminus writes: on Mar 06 2007 03:20 PM Spiderman is Overated! Spiderman was deccent, Spiderman 2 mediocre at best, Spiderman 3 has potential but from what I saw I must say it's gonna be just..... deccent. X-Men and X-Men United are the best comic book movie ever, Spiderman stinks and I'm not afraid to say that it's overated... (Reply to this) |

jeremyf1977 writes: on Mar 06 2007 04:04 PM Well we fianlly got a look at Venom. Problem is I couldn't see the seven minutes because of some internet problems. But still I think GG2 should not be a sufer, Venom and Carnage Rocks and Sandman shouldn't be in it. Should've been scropion......... (Reply to this) |

lavatory love machine writes: on Mar 06 2007 05:27 PM well, regarding that battle between spidey and goblin I think there's a pretty obvious mistake: his spidey senses should have warned him that the goblin was coming (Reply to this) |

dylan21484nj writes: on Mar 06 2007 05:42 PM In reply to this comment (#857444) maybe Harry struck a little too fast for Peter to respond. anyways, that was a pretty kickass fight. i like how Peter outsmarts Harry at the end with the oldest trick in the book. (Reply to this) |

IronStarSavior writes: on Mar 06 2007 09:05 PM Amazing action sequence! I did have a little trouble telling what was going on the first time through, but I got it all the second time. Still, as good as that was, I hope it ranks somewhere in the middle or lower when it comes to ranking the action sequences of the movie. By the previews, it seems there are at least 2 action scenes with Sandman, one with Venom, and then this one with Harry. So I'll be disappointed if the Venom scene and at least one Sandman scene don't top the one with Harry. Given the amount of action in SM2 though, it's hard to complain. (Reply to this) |

lrm8 writes: on Mar 06 2007 10:34 PM i agree that spiderman is overrated (i thought spiderman 2 decended into too much B movie cheesyness and a crappy villain), but they are well made movies. not the greatest comic book movie as some would claim. i would have to go with batman begins and x-men2 for those. narcissusbleh writes: on Mar 07 2007 08:55 AM In reply to this comment (#857448) Eh Unlike the two you just mentioned, the Spider-man flicks have been the most loyal to their comic book history. It doesn't bother me when they're not, but the Spider-man movies were the most obvious works of love, and their balance of drama and action is pitch perfect. (Reply to this) |
