Trailer Bulletin: "Hostel 2" Clip
We have an exclusive clip from "Hostel: Part II," the forthcoming movie from Eli Roth, the director who gave us "Cabin Fever" and the original "Hostel."
Titled "Beth," the clip shows the character enjoying a back rub from one of her female companions one moment. The next, she's ... well, you'll have to watch it to find out.
"Hostel: Part II" picks up shortly after the events of the first movie, but it again centers on three American students who discover an invitation for some R&R by a model in their class is not so friendly after all. If European tourist industry has issues with the first "Hostel," they're not going to like "Hostel: Part II" one bit. The movie stars Lauren German, Bijou Phillips, and Heather Matarazzo, and will be in theaters June 8.

IronStarSavior writes: on Mar 20 2007 09:01 PM Hostel 1 was quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. It wasn't sure whether it wanted to be a true scary movie, a random gore-fest meant to gross you out, or a kind of morbid comedy. In the end, it didn't deliver on any of them, and so I'd rather burn my money than spend it watching that horrible movies sequel. (Reply to this) |

Mikeal420 writes: on Mar 21 2007 07:48 AM we have to accept the fact that some people are just into violent pornography( which when violence becomes this thoughtless and repetitive thats just what it is) I'll still always prefer the thoughtless, erotic kinda of pornography over this. Different strokes for different folks Why can't horror movies be meant to scare us anymore- even the East-Asian horror films have gotten pretty repetitive (Reply to this) |

TitusCosminus writes: on Mar 21 2007 04:00 PM You're right! But there still are a few good, scary horror movies that are fairly reccent: ''28 Days Later'' '' Dawn of the Dead 2004'' I know, both are zombie movies, but they got the job done. I was absolutely disgusted by Hostel, a movie that in my opinion was simply porn for the first 25 minutes and just nasty at the end. Hey I understnd that this is a payoff horror like The Hills Have Eyes but at least the latter had a scary factor. I don't thing the revange factor works in modern horror. But I hope to be proved incorrect. (Reply to this) |

You've posted the same condescending comment on two different threads like it's the greatest observation since gravity. I highly doubt anyone is tempted to jack off when watching the torture scenes. Personally, I found them uncomfortable to sit through, but in a good way. Haha. (Reply to this) |
