First Look: Depp as "Sweeney Todd"
by Jeff Giles | March 29, 2007
Discuss Article
No sooner has filming resumed on director Tim Burton's "Sweeney Todd" than the first photos of Johnny Depp dressed up as the musically gifted barber/murderer have surfaced, courtesy of renowned blogger and photo doodler Perez Hilton.

The shots aren't award-winning, but given that they appear to have been taken on the sly, from a distance, that's to be expected; perhaps unsurprisingly, Burton and Depp's Sweeney Todd looks a little like (in Hilton's words) "a grown-up Edward Scissorhands."

Burton's "Sweeney Todd," the latest adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's popular musical, co-stars Helena Bonham-Carter, Alan Rickman, and Sacha Baron Cohen, and is scheduled for a December 21 release.

Can't find the link either... and the picture is of Depp as Willy Wonka, even though the caption sayd Edward Scissorhands...

Maybe we're really all in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas... it's obviously the drugs talking.

Link
The link to the photos or articles appear to follow the label of "source." Clicking on this link usually leads to the article that is referenced on the story. At least, this is from my experience. My guess is that most of the users have already figured this out, but I thought I would help out if anyone was interested.

I don't know haven't heard anything which is probably good. Depp's a pretty private guy anyway. More power to him!
