selke99 writes: on Apr 02 2007 11:28 AM In reply to this comment (#859958) Yeah, the ending was dumb. Jenna Fischer is so freakin hot!! I had no idea she was closer to a C cup! Did anyone catch any more outtakes at the end? I stayed for the one with Heder's stalker and it really sucked. Did they have any later of Will Ferrell? (Reply to this) |

JustAnotherName writes: on Apr 02 2007 02:20 PM Will Ferrell probably wants to do R This is quite a site. All sorts of places to post. I think Ferrell would love to do movies for his generation and not so much to the crowd he is playing to. I think he feels like an idiot. Ending? What do they care. They already took your money now get lost. $60M to make but they never tell you all of it. I think they spent a LOT advertising as they had a mad rush of new advertising and still do. But as I said before, movies tend not to make a profit even after DVD sales. So much is put into the advertising and so on that after everyone goes home with their money and studios write off a lot. It is the BOX OFFICE they care about. They make a lot of money but do take quite a few hits too. AND...by the way. Who cares about the $$ at the Box Office. Tickets go up and up. SO...can we get a head count instead-NUMBER of tickets sold? Then we could compare better to that weekend and previous years. But again, it is all about what looks good. (Reply to this) |

JessRobinson writes: on Apr 02 2007 04:31 PM Wait for the DVD I saw the movie opening night and I enjoyed it. Ferrell and Heder make a great pair, Jenna does great as a shy but beautiful sister, Poehler and Arnett are just too funny......BUT it felt as though the movie was missing something. I felt there was a sexual tension between Poehler and Arnett but the movie didn't really explain/explore that until the end with a lame kiss. I just feel that it was good in the theater but will be awesome on a DVD that is uncut and unrated. It just seems that someone wanted to either meet a time goal or wanted to keep it rated pg13 and cut some really intergral parts of the movie to get that result. Funny, but hold out for the rental...i think it's gonna be worth the wait! (Reply to this) |
