dwaltonk writes: on Jun 07 2007 11:36 PM Snack Attack Motherf*cker!! I love the SNL Digital Shorts, so I hope this holds up. The one thing I am worried about, though, is the amount of people being hit by (or hitting) things. Sure, in the trailer those moments are hilarious as hell, but how many will be in the actual movie? Gimy writes: on Jun 08 2007 06:05 AM this is only for people who still think snl is funny. i've TRIED watching it every few weeks and its just bad. bad as in...d3mn why haven't they canceled this sh3t already...bad. when you can go 5 minutes into a skit and the audience BARELY laughs...you need to cancel your show. i've seen a few trailers for this...and if you like snl, you'll like this. it looks that poorly written and done. they could at least try to be funny... blank blank writes: on Jun 08 2007 07:08 AM they need to get rid of every snl cast member except kristin wiig. and maybe they should start doing more blow like they used to during the 70s-90s. (Reply to this) |

DanielLee8793 writes: on Jun 08 2007 07:58 AM Dumb... This movie looks really retarded...and is Will Ferrel involved in this movie anyway?Because while searching for movies he was going to be in this was one of them. (Reply to this) |

Crenshaw writes: on Jun 08 2007 08:16 AM Ugh. Awesometown must be somewhere in Vomit Valley. I agree - pathetic. I love how they show a Will Arnett clip and then play a bit of "The Final Countdown" to make your mind do a little Arrested Development connection and make you laugh - only you're laughing at the images of GOB doing his magic act in your head while this piece of crap is still flashing in front of your eyes. Although Isla Fisher makes it all so, so bearable. Purrrrr.... And here is where I lose all credibility: Does anyone else think Ashton Kutcher would have made this movie, um, what's the word... funny? (Reply to this) |

arendr writes: on Jun 08 2007 09:19 AM Can't watch the trailer since I'm at work...but I have to agree about SNL. Not that SNL was ever funny on a consistent basis (yes, even the early ones) but it's almost unbearable now. And those digital shorts really aren't that funny. I never got why everyone thought the "Dick in the box" was so hilarious. It's not even an original joke, and it's really reaching for laughs. And Ashton Kutcher would make this movie funny? Andy Samberg and Ashton Kutcher in the same movie just might be a sign of the apocalypse. (Reply to this) |

Crenshaw writes: on Jun 08 2007 09:25 AM In reply to this comment (#868411) Touche! :-) I've been watching a lot of early 70's Show reruns lately - it may be clouding my judgment... (Reply to this) |

wookiee23 writes: on Jun 08 2007 10:45 AM In reply to this comment (#868405) Hmmm .... siting Family Guy when you are talking about originality. That's interesting. Doesn't that argument usually go the other way around? (Reply to this) |

South_park300 writes: on Jun 08 2007 11:04 AM eh, this looks pretty dumb, but it will probably make some money. and about that Family Guy thing, some people talk like that in real life. Family Guy didn't invent that (Reply to this) |

pinkincide writes: on Jun 08 2007 04:02 PM wookiee -- I didn't talk about "originality". I simply said they stole the gag. South_park300 -- I didn't say FG "Invented how some people talk" I simply said they stole the gag. I also didn't say Family Guy invented the steam engine, discovered America, or cured Polio. For a comprehensive list of what I did say refer to my first post. (Reply to this) |

South_park300 writes: on Jun 08 2007 07:42 PM no, my point is, it's the way some people talk, and that's silly and something easy to poke fun at. i don't think the writers of this movie saw whatever episode of Family Guy that was, and ripped off the gag basically, it's a simple joke. go figure (Reply to this) |

JUDGE DREDD writes: on Jun 09 2007 03:35 PM Damn, this looks funny ! Hope the trailer didnt show all the best bits as usual! Kinda reminds me of a napoleon dynamite kinda flick. (Reply to this) |

laika86 writes: on Jun 10 2007 09:35 AM I always thought the lonely island guys were pretty funny. They've certainly made Saturday Night Live somewhat better with the digital shorts. But this just looks dumb. Hopefully the movie is nothing like the trailer (Reply to this) |
