arendr writes: on Jun 20 2007 09:27 AM In reply to this comment (#870301) I've never big a big Cruise fan. I guess I just don't really like the type of movies he makes. I was impressed with his work in Collateral though. As I said last time this movie was discussed here, I've done a lot of research into this film's subject matter. He really doesn't fit the character at all. But he puts asses in seats and I guess that's what matters. (Reply to this) |

Bigbrother writes: on Jun 20 2007 12:47 PM In reply to this comment (#870303) I wonder if they'll go the Producers route and make it a musical. That could be fun :). Seriously though, great supporting cast and talent like that always seems to bring out the best in Cruise. (Reply to this) |

Milkman Dan writes: on Jun 20 2007 11:04 PM I won't waste my $$$$$ Sounds like a great cast, except for Cruise. He has ruined one too many movies for me with his over the top flamboyant acting. I'm sure he'll get all worked up in the intense moment and make the whole movie lame. (Reply to this) |

hobarticus writes: on Jun 21 2007 08:38 AM This is interesting... The July '44 assassination attempt against Hitler and the aftermath (and how it affected the outcome of the war) is actually a very compelling story in itself, but this sounds like it has a terrific cast to boot. If Cruise can get over himself and not make the movie revolve around him (no "renegade with a dead dad" schtick, please), this could be good. Hell, the cast might overshadow Cruise altogether. Mr. Kong writes: on Jun 22 2007 10:04 AM In reply to this comment (#870309) Absolutley. He needs a movie that will make people forget about all the weird crap about him and it's been a little while since he was even IN a kick-ass movie. (Reply to this) |
