I'll give it a shot when it comes out. Doesn't look too bad from the small teaser. The plot seems standard fair, but whatever. It's Vinny D back playing a bad ass instead of a bad ass who watches kids or a guy with hair...weird.

I said it sounds like THE Van Damme flick "Cyborg" In which Van Damme plays a mercenary, I think they called them Slingers, and escorts a woman across a twisted futuristic wasteland. I think the woman was actually a robot or something and she had something or some information that was going to save the world. Not unlike a Messiah. Was a very weird movie with Melanie Griffith as a bounty hunter helping a dude rescue his sex-robot from some psycho-cult hippies in a postapocalyptic wasteland. It was directed by Stephen DeJarnet, who also directed a really kick @$$ movie called Miracle Mile, which everyone should see without reading any kind of plot synopsis. Oh and he also wrote Strange Brew.

Again, didn't say exactly like anything, but based off of the plot description as described by IMDB it brought to mind Cyborg for me. I don't consider that to be a good or bad thing. As I remember Cyborg was pretty much a non-starter for me except for the ending fight sequence and Van Damme chopping himself down from a crucifixion by kicking his way thru the base of the cross. That was pretty cool.

I agree that his cameo in the movie was pretty pointless. The Pacifier was horrible and I liked Find Me Guilty was an okay movie but his hair was horrible and I like Asia Argento, the chick in the bedroom dancing and the soundtrack was what is best about the movie. So he needs to get his career out of the crapper and beat out The Rock for action roles...oh wait..I just saw the trailer for The Rock's new movie...nevermind

Ummm... Boiler room came out BEFORE Pitch Black, and Fast and the Furious made money but next time, check the tomato meter before claiming the critics liked it, otherwise you might look stupid. That said, I really think that what people are talking about is stuff like Chronicles of Riddick, XXX, and The Pacifier AKA:most of the films Vin has done since Pitch Black.

actually BRAD Boiler Room did not come out before Pitch Black it came out the same exact day SMART ONE so dont try 2 tell me the facts ok and second off Fast and The Furious was 51% on the tomatometer which is good if not great for any action movie, after all Pitch Black was only 55% so i'd say i was right there as well with or without checkin the tomatometer bud

Yeah sorry, the comment I made about Pitch Black wasn't completely clear. I thought Pitch Black was a really good film and Vin D. was good in his part, I guess proving that with a decent script and good direction he can do alright..

i thought the chronicles of riddick was a good movie but not a stand alone movie, just one of those sequals that leads into the next...........but it kept me interested in the riddick character.......i think riddick is the BEST action character of this era minus all the CGI super hero characters out there.........

There are other reasons why I won't see this movie. Who cares about tigers and explosions when the script sucks, the action sequences contrived, and the dialogue laughable? Granted, I'll reserve judgement until the movie comes out, but I just want you to know that "gay-ness" is not the only reason people might not want to see this movie. And for the record, I'm straight.
Oh, and if you're trying to make a point, for the love of all that is holy, LEARN TO SPELL!!!
