Zac Efron On High School Musical 2
More Teenage Song and Dance
by Fred Topel | July 15, 2007

Even though it was on the Disney Channel, "High School Musical" was the most talked about teen film in years. With multiple top selling DVD releases, "HSM 2" was inevitable. Everyone's back and star Zac Efron described the new song and dance numbers for the sequel.

"If you like the music from the first film, I think you’ll definitely enjoy it from the second one," said Efron. "We stuck to trying to bring new styles of music into musicals. Like remember the last one we had like hip hop and it was some salsa. In this one there's Hawaiian music and all different types of genre."

Hawaiian songs tie into the film's new story. "To change it up, it's summer vacation and all of the kids that are at East High, we get jobs, summer jobs, at Sharpay's father's country club. She kind of rules the roost over there and we secretly come in and start making mischief. Fun and singing and dancing ensues."

With demand at a high for more High School Musicals, the word trilogy is inevitable. "We finished filming High School Musical 2. High School Musical 3, there’s talks. But it hasn’t really come to the actors yet."

How teenagers like this crap is beyond me. It's like they know it's horrible, but they love it anyway. *sigh*

Not many teenagers like it, but it's more the kids that like Disney Channel that find enjoyment in it. But damn I hate this movie. Why is this news on RT?

It stars teenagers, or at least people that look like teenagers. This damn movie is adored by little kids (2-7 yrs old), the type that watches it over and over again, driving the parents insane.

Oh, and I heard that Zac Efron will be in a remake of "Footloose". I really hope not. RT, care to report on that?
