Sounds like it could be good, but I'm bummed it's going to be a "really deep, dark drama". An R-Rated Mockumentary about the Deep Throat phenomenon could have been great with Faris in the role.

I agree. This role will be harder and deeper than anything Faris has taken before. But she could really milk this opportunity to carry her career over the brink.

Given that this is the first 'deep' role she's taking....I hope she doesn't choke under pressure.

I'm a bag fan of Faris, and I believe she can pull this role off very good. It'll be hard to see her in a more serious role though, but she's a good choice.

anyways, i guess this movie could be interesting, but i really have no interest in Deep Throat or seeing a drama about the star's life. and from what i've heard Anna Faris is a pretty good actress, but i've never actually wasted the time to watch any of the Scary Movie flicks or anything else she's been in. maybe this will be the first movie of hers i'll see.

Let's be honest. Linda Lovelace wasn't much of a personality prior to Deep Throat. How "dark and deep" could her life be? If she was "abused" well, okay, but millions of women are abused and I don't see Hollywood rushing to put their stories on the screen. I just don't see what insight the movie will have to make me think any more or less of her. Where's the Traci Lords story? Oh, right, you'd have to find an under-aged actress to play the naughty parts...but just give Hollywood time...

well, i guess this is could be a new genre opening to hollywood:

porn actresses, feel good stories meets tragic demise with sexy results;) linda was

one hell of a nutjob and she doesn't deserve a film made of her life after she betrayed

all the people that made her career worth anything on deep throat. plus, why another

revisit to this film? inside deep throat, was an amazing documentry and it should be

left at that. and now we have anna faris playing linda? god, ari gold must be her agent

to get her this role but i wonder how "E" will take the news;) thankfully he is not

managing her career anymore after his little fib to her about him pretending to like

vinnie's new movie script. and there's your entourage update, i guess and all i can say

is Drama was robbed of that supporter actor bid he lost to piven. No "Victory" for

dillon:(
