Michelle Rodriguez Still Fast, Furious
Once a Letty, always a Letty.
Paul Walker and Vin Diesel are already at work on the set of The Fast and the Furious 4 -- and they're being joined by a familiar face.
In a news post at her official site Wednesday, Michelle Rodriguez announced she had agreed to return for the fourth installment of the series, reprising her role as Letty, the onetime love interest of Diesel's character. Her appearance in the film runs at least slightly counter to previous rumors, but where there's a will, there's a way...right?
The Fast and the Furious 4 is scheduled to reach theaters June 5, 2009.

![]() on Mar 07 2008 10:53 AM 4 Fast 4 Furious? Good to see Michelle Rodriguez working again. Liked her on Lost (part of the time, at least). I guess she could be worse off than doing another F&F. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Mar 07 2008 10:54 AM Good for her, getting another "badass chick" role. Frankly, sometimes I just wish I could punch her to see exactly how badass she really is. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 07 2008 11:02 AM A sequel to part 1? Wooooow, I did NOT know they were bringin' the originals back. Interestin'. This should be good, especially wit' Ms. Rodriguez in it. She was a good asset to the original, just as Paul and Diesel. Niiice.. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 07 2008 11:56 AM I hate to be the cynical prick, here --surprising, seeing as how I do it so often-- but it's not like any of these three (Rodriguez, Diesel, Walker) had insurmountable *work* schedules conflicts to work out.. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 07 2008 11:58 AM This movie will be just as bad as the other 3. When will kids get tired of this overplayed "econobox boy racer" stuff? (Reply to this) |

on Mar 07 2008 12:04 PM In reply to this comment (#1619119) nice try jen, i offered that like 5 months ago. the official title will be the following: THE F4ST AND THE FURIOUS they might tack an additional 4 on the end just to drive the point home. pun intended. but they will also probably use a subtitle like 'tokyo drift' to set it apart from from the others. I'm thinking THE F4ST AND THE FURIOUS 4: DEEP ST4GE i dunno anything about street racing, but a glossary of popular terms indicated that this is a way of inching ahead after staging, but before the race begins, to gain a slight advantage. oh, and without any sort of spoiler alert on imdb, they said that letty gets popped in this one and the whole story is about diesel and walker getting revenge or something, so i guess michelle's role will be pretty limited. ![]() on Mar 07 2008 01:24 PM i wonder what the story line is goin to be.i didnt care to see the third one but if MOST of the original cast is returnin then i think it shouldnt be to bad....for a fast and the furious film. but i agree with the hamboner these films wont go away. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 07 2008 01:41 PM I won't see it in the theater, for the simple fact that, due to the countless idiots who will undoubtedly be speeding out of the parking lot, leaving it will be a hazard. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Mar 07 2008 01:41 PM In reply to this comment (#1619238) You are not alone. Great point. I admit to being a fan of drifting (and I'm even looking to learn how to properly drift) so I actually liked 3 for if nothing else the races (kinda the point of watching a racing movie. How gives a damn about plot, just race, same as fighting film not really needing plot, just fight). Two was garabage but it did give us a great song to drive fast to (Ludacris "Act a Fool"). Hopefully this will have drifting (pretty much the coolest thing you can do in a car besides have sex) and Vin Diesel going beserk and stomping potholes in peoples a$$e$. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 07 2008 01:41 PM the firat 1 was a piece of ****. so was the 2nd. i didn't bother seeing #3. i know you're not supposed 2 judge a movie without seeing it, but i doubt 4 is gonna be any good either. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Mar 07 2008 01:48 PM I won't be satisfied until there are at least a dozen "the fast and the furious" movies so that I can burn them all on a mega-storage dvd and loop the movies so I don't see the same one in a 24 hour period. Sorry that was confusing, but then again, so is the reason for making another FF movie. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 07 2008 02:31 PM Lemme guess... Story is about some shady racers who are up to no good, doing something illegal on the side... Paul, Vin, and Michelle's character somehow end up running into or racing the crooked racers, Michelle gets kidnapped, Vin and Paul race the master/boss, win the race, and save michelle and the Vvro Thi Wonder if the setting is going to be out in Ching Chong Chi land again ? on Mar 07 2008 03:47 PM In reply to this comment (#1619427) First of all, yeah...this movie is nothing but Walker, Diesel and Rodriguez trying to resurrect what little careers they had before. Second of all "Ching Chong Chi land???" WTF, you racist son of a b*tch. It was in Tokyo, hence "Tokyo Drift." Ignorant *** clown. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 07 2008 04:45 PM In reply to this comment (#1619531) Michelle trying to resurrect her career? I don't think it's that at all. She has a starring role in James Cameron's much anticipated Avatar. And has several movies in the pipeline. Michelle always said that if Vin Diesal and Paul Walker were up to making a another Fast and Furious movie, that she'd be on board. (Reply to this) |
