Trailer Bulletin: The Duchess
Keira Knightley goes back to not-so-merrie olde England.
Like Keira Knightley? Like corsets? Boy, have we got a trailer for you!
Moviefone has an exclusive look at The Duchess, Saul Dibb's adaptation of Amanda Foreman's novel Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, starring Knightley, Ralph Fiennes, Hayley Atwell, and Dominic Cooper. Due for release next fall, the film appears to touch on all the story elements we've come to expect from period British pieces -- there's a beautiful young member of the royal family, an arranged marriage, and some illicit nookie on the grounds. To see it all for yourself (with swirling orchestral score, natch), click on the link below!

on Dec 27 2007 10:29 AM Knightly and corsets are about as useless a pairing as fat free food and rosie odonnell's refrigerator. there's no reason to put the two together, she has nothing to lift. she's cute but, borrow some silicone from Pam Anderson, she has PLENTY to spare... (Reply to this) |

on Dec 27 2007 10:58 AM I like corsets, but she'd need to put on some serious weight to have any use for one. (Reply to this) |

on Dec 27 2007 11:06 AM She sure loves her 18th and 19th century period pieces... regardless of that, she's still my favourite actress along with Eva Green and one of the few actors out there that I will go to see a movie just because she's in it (Clive Owen is the other one). (Reply to this) |

on Dec 27 2007 11:57 AM Let's talk seriously for a moment: Keira Knightly is one of the most irritating actresses working today (second only to Scarlett Johansen) and silicone won't help (Reply to this) |

on Dec 28 2007 11:00 AM The message of the trailer: British nobles, Kiera Knightly, awkward British sex in a dungeon, and horses. Whatever. I guess it's not really meant for my demo anyway. (Reply to this) |
