I agree with all of the people on here that don't like the new format. I'm not interested in all of the celeb news. How come there isn't an option to read all of the critic's comments on a single page? It's almost impossible to navigate. I think that I'll start using IMDB for movie info. Please go back to your old format RT, it was so much better.

You can't expect perfection out of the gates, but here are my biggest gripes (most/all of which have been previously mentioned):

1. The Google Search really really sucks. For example, if I search for "Planet of the Apes" I only want to see the six movies come back. Instead I get 10,900 results, and the original film is not on the first page. Also, the year of the films are not displayed in the title, making it hard to distinguish remakes from originals.

2. The Limit of 20 reviews per page on the movie pages is frustrating. Please, PLEASE add a "Show All" button. At its heart, Rotten Tomatoes is all about aggregating movie reviews from multiple sources. This is your bread and butter, and usability is the key. I don't come here to read every single review, but to scan through comments and get an idea of what critics are saying.

3. Similarly, the limit of five (!!!) films on the filmographies is useless. I would recommend you guys take your usability cues from IMDB, which shows you all the info at once, and offers myriad options for sorting it. This was my major complaint with the previous version of Rotten Tomatoes as well.

4. What's up with the abbreviated "Consensus"? Did you guys go through and rewrite all of these??? That is a lot of work just to make something worse! What was wrong with a full sentence to succinctly and informatively sum up the critical consensus? Now we have to do with an effectively meaningless soundbite. Too bad...

Still, I appreciate what you guys are trying to do. Just remember that usability should always take precedence over graphics, that style should not trump substance.

P.S. And as many have said, this "SUBMIT" button is truly ludicrous. It comes across as insulting. My mittens do not have strings, you know.

i just reluctantly signed up so I could group the critics I thought had something worthwhile to say..I still cant figure out how to put them together on a page. I've already spent way too much time with this crap...

That's what's wrong with the site now. There is NO way select a show all option unlike the previous way that RT had it.

Looks utterly horrible on my Firefox - perhaps a CSS problem because page elements are overwriting each other and the fonts are HUGE.

I come here to flick down through the reviews and I could easily see them all at a glance. From there I would browse other pages on the site. With this new layout the reviews are submerged in graphics and frankly if it stays that way I'll just go to IMDB and read the reviews there.

Big thumbs down from me, this change needs more than minor tweaks to correct it. I'm really disappointed as this was one of my favourite sites and a daily read.

I used to come to this site daily. Now it hurts my eyes. Instead of listing all my complaints, I'll just ask you to please change it back to the way it was. And please change the e-mail newsletter back, too.

Your forums are terrible now. The colors and layout are gonna push newbies away.

Wow, ever heard of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it?" Yes, there are a few improvements I've always hoped for (ability to search in more detail by country is one), but this violent assault on my eyes is unwarranted. Please go back to the old look. The new layout reminds me of when my grandfather had to switch to large print books because his eyes were failing.

I don't know. I'm not really feeling the new "feel" to the site. It'll take some time to get used to for sure.

um i think its terrible now!!! i dont like change and loved the darker atmosphere before. where on the movie pages are the tabs such as about and credits. especially credits!! how should i know the cast and crew? doing away with games was probably for the better though at least.

Like a lot people, I loved it the way it was. The new format for reviews is particularly irritating. The review excerpts are harder to read on the page due to the new font, colors, faces of critics, word balloons, etc. The page is far too busy; needlessly cluttered. Also, I hate that I have to click on Top Critics in order to view their review excerpts, instead of being able to see the Cream of the Crop on the right-hand side of the page.

Love the site, guys. Improvements are always welcome, but these changes just seem to make things worse!

I agree with the comment, " "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

The reviews are hard to read, way to small, I really dont care about the faces of the critics, this is useless and its takes space for a bigger font.
I dont like the selection " tm critic, top critic, community.
Please bring back the green

I love your site, I go to it everyday, this change feels like a let down and it a disapointement

Sorry...

thank you

I love Rotten Tomatoes and have since the beginning... I've even liked all the changes along the way. This is the first time I was really put off by the changes in a bad way.

Please, change it back. It's cluttered, more confusing, more clicks, and bad colors. I don't like how far down the review clips are down the page.

This new look makes me realize how much I loved the old one.

Is there a reason that films that don't have enough reviews for a tomatometer score have the reviews hidden? Or am I just blind and not seeing where they are?

It's nice and fresh, but a bit hard on the eyes (i.e. too light and bright)

This is so pretty but so hard to read. I love how the clips of reviews were HUGE and easy to read. Now my eyes hurt. Small fonts are just no fun. Pleeeeze make font bigger pretty pleeeeeze.
