If it's good, hopefully HBO will allow SHOWTIME to pick it up...
as Showtime has the balls.

Thank God, "The Preacher" deserves better than Mark Steven Johnson. I was originally excited when Robert Rodriguez was attached, but lost interest and was even a little upset after hearing Johnson picked it up.
"Ghost Rider" was terrible and "Daredevil" (even the direcor's cut) was average at best, if not a little lame.

Yeah Ghost Rider was pretty terrible, but I would say that the Director's Cut was pretty good I still think they could make it better say take out that stupid airport scene, take out the stupid music and have an original score, and take out Collin Farrels corny facial expressions.

yeah, i was gonna say, was MS Johnson directing this, or was he just behind the scenes? 'Cause if he was at the helm, this may actually be good news.

If you actually read the article he talks about how he learned from those two films what not to do with a comic book adaptation. So I'd have trusted him. He seems to have a knack for the darker comic book heroes and if it was word for word as he said then it probably would have turned out alright. Not to mention television is a different ballpark than film. Ex. David Duchovany, the famed Fox Mulder of X-Files, wrote and directed the series' best episodes yet when he made the move to film he was a critical failure.

mhhm. The TV Set was really good, and his new show Californication are great.

Wow, Johnson just can't get a break. First Fox butchered his vision for Daredevil in terms of the theatrical cut, and now HBO is screwing him over.
