Being one of the biggest John Wyndham fans out there I'm overjoyed to hear they're adapting this novel... however I'm also a little disappointed. Why not adapt one of his better books, i.e Day of the Triffids or The Chrysalids.
I'd seriously love to see a chrysalids movie... one of the best books I've ever read in my life.

Good call. Crysalids would make a great movie in the right hands. But why complain? Choky would be awesome. Do it!

Yah it would... but I dunno his other novels are more... original I guess.
Chocky, I think, has been done before, and the book didn't seem to grab as much as his other books. But it's been a while since I've read it so maybe I'll go back and read it...
But I would love to see a Chrysalids adaptation sometime soon... It's an excellent book. But you'd really need someone who knows how to adapt a story like that.
