Bio: Gino Cervi (born May 3, 1901 in Bologna; died January 3 1974 in Punta Ala) was an Italian actor of international fame.
Cervi was best known for his role of Giuseppe Botazzi - "Peppone", the Communist mayor in the Don Camillo movies of the 1950s and the 1960s.
