Cool bubble-ship aside, number 1 rule in science fiction is that the science must be reasonable to assume. A major plot element in this movie depends on a major violation of known science and does NOTHING to explain how it is possible. Add some other ridiculous assumptions and writers turn dramatic license into dramatic brain-loss.
