Both of the trailers look good and Emma Watson is in it. What more is there to say?

Although I wasn't a huge fan of the novel or the original movie, this looks very promising. The cast is great as is the director and the two trailers so I'll definitely be giving this reboot a try.

When I first saw the trailer, I thought to myself, "This is going to be insane!" Yeah, the only thing insane about this movie is how the actor's agents let them sign on to this mess.
Now I have to admit I did laugh a few times during the movie and it did keep me entertained, but that was only because of the all-star cast. If the people in this movie weren't as famous and as talented as they are, the whole thing would have fallen down flat. Overall, there are allot of things I could say about Movie 43, but I think the critic's consensus pretty much sums it all up: "A star-studded turkey, Movie 43 is loaded with gleefully offensive and often scatological gags, but it's largely bereft of laughs." Yep, that's pretty much it.

If you're looking for an old-fashion, creepy, atmospheric suspense thriller that delivers the chills without being bloody or disgusting, Guillermo del Toro's Mama is the perfect movie for you.
I'll start of by saying that Jessica Chastain was the best thing about this movie. Her performance basically carried the whole film; it reminded me greatly of Rooney Mara in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I would expect nothing less from an Oscar nominated actress. I'm not sating her role in the film is Oscar worthy, but it definitely shows she has talent. I would have given this movie a 3.5, but I had one problem with the movie that made me take it away, and that reason is Mama herself. Now, don't get me wrong she looked fantastic and very disturbing, but she was shown too early in the movie and then too often afterwards so after you saw her once the surprise was gone and then the movie just wasn't that scary anymore. Aside from that and an ending that doesn't really give you the effect it wants to, Mama is creepy, atmospheric, and very entertaining. Plus it's much better than most of the new PG-13 horror movies out there. If you're a horror movie fan or if you're just looking for a good scare, check it out. You might be surprised.

Being a huge fan of the novel, I was a bit skeptical about seeing this. Needless to say the movie did not disappoint, it actually blew my expectations. The movie stayed true to the book while only eliminating a few things here and there that didn't really affect the plot or screw up the character development, so I have to give it props for that.
I also have to compliment on how fantastic the acting was. Every actor/actress involved in the movie, (especially Lerman and Watson), did a top-notch job at bringing an emotional depth to their characters that really helped bring out their vulnerable sides. Seriously speaking, if this movie doesn't hit a soft spot or at least make you think about your past high school experiences, something is very wrong with you. Overall, I really enjoyed this movie. It perfectly captured the ups and downs of the high school experience while staying very true to the source materiel as well. I definitely recommend it to fans of the book or anyone whose just looking for a good time at the movies.

The trailer looks a bit over the top, but I'm excited to see it anyway.
