Ain't Them Bodies Saints is this years brilliant and beautifully shot example of a character driven story at it's best, for a supporting role, Keith Carradine was this film's icing on top. But for the main actors here, Casey Affleck is at the top of his game, Ben Foster gives yet again another spectacularly subtle performance, and Rooney Mara shows off her acting chops once again, expressing how committed and serious of an actress she can really be. Not to mention the cinematography here is a visually resplendent galore to behold. Extremely excited to see what director Lowery does next. From what I hear, he is teaming up again with Affleck in a Sci Fi tale involving time travel from a collection of novellas called "Into the Silent Land", consisting of other stories about case studies of neuropsychology as well. Overall, one of the best art house sleepers this year, and a well rounded homage to classic outlaw couple films like Bonnie and Clyde and Badlands.
