I watched a couple of very good Hammer Horrors.
The Plague of the Zombies has some creepy looking undead with pealing pale gray skin that must be hell to see when they look in the mirror at 6 o'clock in the morning. No wonder they're so grumpy. What makes matters worse is that they have to go to work early to a job they hate. Watch this to help yourself see that others have it much worse. Your job sucks. Imagine being dead and having a sucky job. 7/10.
Captain Clegg (a.k.a., Night Creatures in the US to capitalize on Hammer's association with horror, even though this is somewhat of a departure from Hammer's horror efforts) is about pirates and wenches and smuggling and hydrolically lifted cleavage and bottomless booze barrols and church and funerals and..... Well, the church and funerals just lead back to the booze and cleavage really. It's rather talky at times but often has one hell of a great look. Love the scarecrow! I think Tim Burton loved it too. Peter Cushing is terrific with that Bride of Frankenstein white streak in his hair. I do wish that'd fianlly catch on! I also liked that Oliver Reed seemed to be sober through much of this and the dude who played that officer looking for the smugglers had a really tall face. 8/10.
NOTE: Disney did a similar film with Patrick McGoohan called Dr. Syn, The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh. But apparently they're too busy with Brother Bear 2 to release it on DVD. :(
