Worth seeing for Swanks performance, Sevigny is particulary good in her supporting role too. It is moving and terrible and heartbreaking. More fascinating by the fact that it is based on a true story. The message will stay with you although the film is forgettable. Which, if I had to choose, I think is more important. :) |

I liked Lolita. I haven't seen the updated version.
Now, South Pacific I'd like to see one day. Funny observation about casting. Old American shows are quite hilarious with obvious white guys playing everything from native american to mexican to black.

I think you'd like South Pacific. I once saw a version of Othello with Anthony Hopkins, boot polish all over his face. :D

Now that's just sad. :(
I'll make it a point to see it sometime. Maybe when I get the TV turned back on.

Thanks. :)
Actually I use the money saved to buy TV DVDs. Plus my VHS collection is utterly huge.
But keep patting...
:p :D
