Way Past Cool (2003)
Agrees With....
Posted on 4/12/04 at 3:59 PM Plot: Legendary storytellers Norman Lear ("All In The Family") and Milos Forman (director of AMADEUS and ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOOS NEST) present this story of life in the streets of downtown Oakland where drug deals and rivalries create havoc in the neighborhoods. This film was adapted from Jess Mowry's award-winning best-selling novel and shows the effects of poverty and hopelessness in America's inner cities. Review: It's not Way Past Cool it's way past horrible. This movie is not believable and not realistic I should know I live in the hood. The acting by everyone in the movie not just the kids was just terrible they manage to make Mariah Carey in "Glitter" look like an Oscar winner. The story is unrealistic, boring, and really corny. I'm really disapointed I thought this movie waz gonna be a pretty good movie it jus turned out to be a joke. I'll rather pull my teeth out then watch this movie again. Don't even bother with this movie. Just go. Your still here. Get goin. |
