I didnt know what to think after this movie, i have to say that it was pretty amazing in the special effects and sound dept, something we expect from a Spielberg epic. The tripods and the atmosphere of the whole movie reallly kept me on the edge of my seat and it was pretty damn intense. But also with a Spielberg Special effects bonanza comes little attention to detail in the story, this aliens have been planning this for millions of years but some how they didnt know they would die that quickly? I dunno stuff should of just been explained a little more, how the hell did his son survive? And why thr fuck did the aliens look exactly like the aliens in Independence Day? It looks as if Tom Cruise can act normal, but Tim Robbins....still crazy on screen. What else is there to look foreward to for this summer? Pretty much nothin if you ask me, Fantastic Four is going to be a pile of shit, i guess the next thing to look foreward to is King Kong.
