To make it easy for you to understand how I rate the movies that I review, I have created two simple rating scales for you to look at:


Content Rating Scale

When a rating has (with extra butter) next to it, this movie was just a little better than the rating category below it, so it should be commended for being a higher quality film.

Large Popcorn (with extra butter)
Large Popcorn = Buy the big tub, because you will be chewing on this movie for a while.
Medium Popcorn (with extra butter)
Medium Popcorn = Just enough of a movie to make you full, now its time for a nap
Small Popcorn (with extra butter)
Small Popcorn = The movie is done already, but that didn?t fill you up at all?
Tic-Tac = Eat a tic-tac to remove the bitter taste that this movie left in your mouth.

Entertainment Value Rating Scale

Buy It = Go to a theatre to see this movie, and also buy it when it comes out on video.
See It = Go to a theatre to see this movie, but it is not worth owning.
Rent It = Rent this movie, but it?s not worth paying a higher price to see in a theatre.
Skip It = Don?t ever see this movie.
