With this being maybe the most anticipated movie ever, The Dark Knight decided to deliver. Let me first start by saying that Heath Ledger was so good, that I think if he was not in it the movie, it may have been something I had not thought about seeing twice. He may very well win an Oscar, and it shouldn't just be because of his death. In fact, by the end of the movie, my friend and I discussed if he in fact might of been the main character, and not Christian Bale; how crazy is that? The man just stole the show. The addition of Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent was also great and the action scenes and just overall darkness of the movie not only make it a great comic book film, but a great and exhilarating film that you want more by the end; everything you want in a summer movie. One thing I will say is that this could be one film that could've benefitted as a whole from being rated R instead of PG-13. I totally understand that PG-13 makes more money but god dang, imagine the things they could've done. As of now, probably the best movie of 2008.
