It's a long movie. Once you've accepted that, King Kong is nothing more than movie fun. Solid special effects (with only a few holyshit that is so fake scenes), sweet - if not creepy - romance, and over the top action make for a terrific popcorn flick.
Slowly paced, tedius, and mostly boring. The story is fairly simple, and, to be fair, at times gripping - but unfortunately, I felt like I was mostly being dragged through tedius exposition. If you have patience and don't mind "artsy" movies, it's worthwhile. Otherwise,... More
