I just first want to say that I laughed continually throughout Sex & the City 2 and that alone makes it a successful comedy in my book (really what more do I need?). For some reason the Sex & the City series just makes many reviewers, particularly heterosexual male ones lose their frackin minds. They turn into raving hateful man c*nts who can't see straight through their burning hatred and threatened masculinity. Me, I got everything I wanted out of it: fashion porn, glamor porn, New York City porn, real estate porn, exotic destination porn, (I love porn and am not afraid to admit it) laugh-out-loud-funny one-liners, and time watching my 2nd favorite on screen group of friends (behind only the Golden Girls). In fact I found this second installment to be better paced than the first, and more consistently funny throughout. There's not much I can do to convince the average Straight man just relax and enjoy it, but then again I find movies about baseball, auto/motor cycle racing, and westerns (all staples of the straight film diet) to be crushingly boring.
