Very Odd - B Movie Plot -


Ouch! The last hope for summer - fails.

Prometheus - dud.
SpiderMan - dud.
Avengers - dud.
BatMan - dud.


The ODD - VERY ODD - B movie plot

There was a HUGE PLOT PROBLEM.
The Audience had to sit there for an hour watching Batman inside
a cavern/pit a child could get out of - and ironically does in the movie -

So a child can get out of the pit - even in the movie - but BatMan cant?
Its an absurd gesture. The wall did not look very difficult to climb AT ALL.

So when at the turning point, one of the fellows stuck down there
tells BatMan in a Eureka! Moment!! To climb the wall without a rope,
I am sitting there going. WTF? Are you people serious with this?
No one caught this error? You serious? No one. None of the Actors,
none of the script readers, none of the producers raised a question about this?

This incredulous un - believable notion that no one can climb this ridiculously
low and easy to climb wall is about as absurd a notion as I have ever seen,
as it looks like the exact opposite. And again, a child climbs it in the movie.

This is a wall - not a smooth wall - but a heavy brick laden wall with LOTS
of protruding grooves and cracks - what is required for easy climb is there and plentifully there. Its not
even that tall, not even a 100 feet and we are supposed to believe this
is something no one can climb out of? When a child can?

It frankly looks like ANYONE can climb that wall.
In fact I would put a challenge out there that ANYONE CAN climb
this wall. This Pit. This wall that is keeping grown men therein.

It was a SEVERE Plot flaw.
Exactly how it is that the BatMan who stands on the edge of sky scrapers,
climbs for sport, cannot climb this EZ to climb wall?

Whoever is supposed to dot the i's and cross the T's in making
a $300 million effort credible? Failed. And that totally ruined the movie.

As it stands, the Dark Knight Rises is a Cautionary tale - to be seen after
Ed Wood.

PLOT FLAW TWO
There were so many flaws in this movie
that what is incredible is that someone is willing to fork over $300 million
for something riddled ubiquitously with horrendous Plot Flaws.

You cant cross the bridge? No? Ever hear of a Helli-copter?

It was a very bizarre notion. I'm looking at it and saying, this is the silliest thing I have ever seen. Exactly why is it that no one can be airlifted?

This movie had so many plot problems that it makes the Direction and Production Capability of ED WOOD - seem like the work of a Genius.

This is a very strange movie. It is very strange because no one caught the very obvious problems that makes this movie un-believable. It is very strange because there are seasoned, respectable actors who went along with these plot flaws. It is very strange because it is a Rich Expensive train and everyone was eager to get on with it, and not bother with the quality or the workmanship or where they were going. Everyone got on board, got drunk and got to nowhere fast.

This is not something to be celebrated. It is something to be embarrassed about.

NOW - YOU MAY THINK - I am not a Bat Man Fan - nor a Chris Nolan Fan - except for this - I have been watching Bat Man Begins every single night for the past 5 years. 1500 Views + because it is an absolute masterpiece. It is flawless.

This movie however is well balanced work in the trilogy in that, as opposed to the Beginning being absolutely flawless - this was so full of flaws that it truly baffles the mind how anyone can allow this to go forward, unchecked. I am a huge fan of Nolan, a huge fan of BatMan in general, a huge fan of Christian. What I"m not a big fan of is this horrible movie. It is AWFUL.

You couldnt pay me to watch this movie again. Now thats quite a statement, from a man who has watched Bat Man Begins 1500 + times.
