![]() I think this Ice Queen was possibly related to Tanya Harding. I mean she even looked a bit like her in her slimmer days. The Ice Queen is about the scientific discovery of a lifetime. A prehistoric humanoid that have never been found before is found. She looks human, but her insides are not. And at warmer temps that humans thrive in, she does not. She was born in the ice ages and thrived in the cold temps. A military convoy is transporting the Ice Queens body and is attacked. Of course, she is stolen by scientists that are seeking to bring her back to life. While she is being transported across the mountains by plane, the machine keeping her temp warm malfunctions. She wakes and kills the pilot, causing the plane to crash into the mountains. The plane crash causes an avalanche that buries a local ski resort. The ski staff and the Ice Queen are trapped inside. The Ice Queen gets meaner as it gets colder and has two things in mind, kill and mate. Ice Queen is your standard B horror movie. It doesn?t offer anything new or original really. All though I will admit that the Ice Queen is one bad, ugly goofy walking bitch. Nothing really happens in the movie till about mid way through. Random explosions, skiers, dancers, wet t-shirts, and enough to keep you slightly engaged. The scripting stunk. The CGI wasn?t too bad; there were some parts that I was like WTF? And there were some scenes that you could so tell that it was a low budget flick. The cast is total unknowns, and it showed. There were some decent one-liners in the movie. The movie is cheesy, sometimes funny, full of fake snow and like I said before, one mean, ugly goofy walking bitch. Decent rental for a Saturday night that nothing else is in that you want to watch.
