I am not seeing this movie. I refuse.
This isn't because I am happy that 9/11 happened or support terrorism or that I hate America and this isn't because I'm a Democrat or part of any other political party that opposes the current Administration.
A) I lived through this. I saw it on T.V. and sobbed like everyone else did on the day of the attacks.
B) Nobody REALLY knows what happened aboard United 93 mainly because the government has been so secretive with the story. The black box audio has been released in chunks and the FBI hordes the rest of it.
I find it highly humorous that the government hides this flight in the shadows and, yet, we're all supposed to watch and buy what we're seeing on a giant movie screen. It cracks me up.
This is complete and total propaganda at its worst. I am not seeing this until I get an official version or the real truth is discovered. I cannot begin to support a movie if I don't know what really happened on board that plane.
I do this out of respect of the families who have also been duped by this movie.
I love this country more than anything. It seems that the critics are afraid to dislike this movie and are giving it good reviews just for the sake of not being considered "traitors". As fiction, it works, but nobody knows the facts. Have we learned nothing from McCarthyism or the lesson taught in Clooney's "Good Night, and Good Luck"???
Just because one dislikes this movie intensely does NOT mean that they are Communists, traitors, rogue agents, etc.
And, so, I am not seeing the movie. I don't expect you to care one way or the other. If you have to comment, you can. I expect to be blasted from every direction, so have at me.
This is my opinion. You cannot change it.
