How did this movie get good reviews??! Are people on some narcotic I'm not aware of? Ya I'd love it too if I were smokin' something herbal.
Read the book, then watch paint peel on the wall for 2 hours. You'll get the experience

I saw Syler (Heros) instead of Spock the first few minues of the movie. I was waiting for him to kill someone.
It was a fun and exciting movie, humor and action. It even stuck to a lot of Trek Canon and did a nice job doing it. It is a very different trek, but the cast did a really great job, and yes, after I got through my typecast, Spock was really well done also. The downside, there is a new Romance that I completely hated and is inconsistant with characters as we know them; huge deal with the vulcans, huge! The weakest link in the movie.... The end conversation dialogue between Spock and another person... just doesn't work and left me asking lots of questions. The more casual Trek fan will enjoy it and the more devoted Trek Fans will be left screaming about this movie. I think it really was very well done and a lot of fun. The point of course wasn't to give us more of the same, but a lot of new stuff we haven't seen in changing the ship and the new actors. A lot of change that also comes with a lot of familiarity. I think the point of the big changes to Canon is to show how things ended up how they did, changed. And of course I'm sure to usher in a new series of either Trek movies or a TV show.

Great movie, I enjoyed this one a lot. The second movie was not as good, but the 3rd raised the bar again.

This is a cheesey, Puppet Master elements with lost potential.
I just saw this piece of .. uh, work late night on sci fi channel. They take some puppet themes that seem to be there just because they can be. The actors are good, it's got that one bald guy who played Pauly in Darkman - he was good. Good for a laugh or two. Almost like a train wreck, you don't want to see it but you can't look away. At least I decided to watch it until star trek tng came on. I did see parts of the last hour during the commercials. It is fairly dull with high points of stupidity, cheesy action/horror with S&M. Oh, except for the Darkman guy and there's a midget in it who I believe is rather popular.

no plot.. bad acting.. no-body actors, poor special effects. Takes itself way too seriously.

It helps to be a Bruce Campbell fan, to appreciate his style and over the top and cheesy way of story telling. Lots of fun and I really enjoyed it!

This movie has it's amusing points. Sadly it sports only one real fight scene between the heros and the foul Dr. Doom. The fantastic four are only really fantastic near the end of the film. Otherwise they squabble amongst themselves both verbally and physically with their powers. Every one of the four have an issue with some other member of the group. I read someone compare Fantastic Four to a soap opera; and they're right.
On the plus side, great fx. Dr. Doom had a slightly more developed character than the four. Really got a sense of how traumatic the transformation is for "The Thing." It's a little ho-hum but amusing for effects and a passable comic book adaptation.

Batman Begins is the best Batman movie since Michael Keaton recreated Batman.
