:rotten: Just to say, I'm not a comics fan, so if I say anything wrong about a character, forgive me. When I see a comic game, there is usually a light side to them, but this game is probably the darkest comic game out there. Basic plot, you are trying to kill all the Super Hero's...Preety dark huh? But that doesn't make the game bad. MN has some real nice elements to it. Such as the unique art design for the character's.Speaking of characters, the characters are seperated into 2 groups, The Imperfect, and The Marvels. The style brings out the real comic feel in the game. The graphics arn't gonna win any awards, but the graphics add more of dark feel to the game. Level Design isn't all to good and there isn't many levels for that matter. The good news is that everything in each level is throwable. This makes every match different than the last. The gameplay is fast pace and the cut sence are very eye catching. And to some people, the most important thing is the difficulty. I'll tell you one thing, it's not as hard as Tekken 5. Seriously though, it's not that hard. A few matches will take you more than one try, but the best part of this game has to be the versus mode. Each battle you have acctually makes you think that it could happen(Im not talking about the Imperfects or the Mutants.) Every fight is fast and swift to make almost every battle come down to the wire. I clocked in at about 14 hours and 25 minutes, so this might be a game you just wanna rent, but if you are a hardcore Marvel fane and EA fan, buy this game by all means.
This game is fun and I like dark, but a big problem is that after you beat the game, there's not much replayablity here. And because of that I dock you one point. And what really makes me mad is that this was a great idea, but it came out with bad results. I give you a web-slinging, not so fantastic, mutant score of 5 out of 10
Fun Fact: This game is better on the Gamecube.
