I thought Dead and Buried was disappointing. It didn't have nearly the atmosphere of The Fog. It kept threatening to get good...but I never thought it did. Oh well. 1 Replies | Report Abuse

It's a "very, very solid movie" that only deserves a 6/10? I'd say it was just an OK movie, which is why it deserves only a 6.5/10 or so. Anyhow, I basically enjoyed it, like you said, it hat that Romero feel, but it was slow and kind of silly in message. That said Lynn Lowry is HOT HOT HOT. I've been in love with her forever. Its too bad she doesn't get naked in this movie (See: Score, Sugar Cookies for that). 1 Replies | Report Abuse

Can you explain to me what you like about the original Lake Placid? My dad loves that movie, I've never gotten it. I thought it was awful. I know my dad isn't alone, I've heard a lot of others say they liked it, I just never understood why. I mostly get vague "I donno, it's just kinda cool, like a 50's movie," which I don't really get. I like the first one because its to me its fun in a goofy cheesy way. Its not a masterpiece by anymean's, but its one of those shut your brain off for an hour or so and have a good time films for me.
