.....I want to hate you, but the love still shines through. I do hate you though. 0 Replies | Report Abuse LMAO! Don't hate the queen, baby. :D Playing on one of the lines from Bubba. 0 Replies | Report Abuse You know jenny. I added you to my MSN so we could get more intimate. But you're never online! How are we supposed to have virtual sex if we can't even contact each other. I mean, come on!! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Lawn, you still have hands, don't you? :D Glad you loved it, Jen! I anticipate reading your further thoughts on it. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Well yeah, but it works better if I have a voice to go with the picture :) 0 Replies | Report Abuse Yes, Neum, I did love it, but I don't anticipate having any thoughts worth writing at this time. :D Lawn, Lawn, Lawn...I am temporarily speechless. :D Really, I am... 0 Replies | Report Abuse 9/10? 9?! Alas, I am disappointed... :( :p 0 Replies | Report Abuse Kyle, as much as I loved it, I know it's far from perfect. It's flaws do nothing to reduce my love for the film and Campbell. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Lawn, I've had to disable that IM ID because I forgot the friggin password and I couldn't get back in. I'll make a new one soon. Then I'll be able to virtually make you walk funny. :p 0 Replies | Report Abuse sweeeet 0 Replies | Report Abuse Masochist. :D 0 Replies | Report Abuse I'd call you a Sadist, but something tells me that doesn't even begin to cover it 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

Yeah this is one I definitely need to see. I've been a huge Paul Giamatti fan since Private Parts 0 Replies | Report Abuse Definitely, Lawn. He was great, brilliant I'd say. I had already written about this in the thread, so I didn't feel like repeating what I had said already. You never get the sense that he's acting--it's like watching the real guy. He's freaking great! 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

I gave my friend the special edition DVD for xmas. He seemed stoked 1 Replies | Report Abuse Ya should've given it to me, Lawn. :D I'm getting it for myself. I can't believe how wonderful that movie was. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Such a great movie. I don't think I've ever met anyone who didn't like it. My only problem with it was the ending: they didn't seem to quite know what to do there. Otherwise, as you said, it's fantastic. Unfortunately, none of the other Python movies quite seem to match it. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Prospero, I was SO ready for that siege. John Cleese's insults and taunts were killing me by then, so I was waiting for King Arthur's revenge. It still doesn't change my love for it, though. "Tis a mere scratch" on my heart. The quotes are awesome. :D 0 Replies | Report Abuse Jenny, your new pics are hot. I want you more then ever, and I WILL have you someday, whether you like it or not! 1 Replies | Report Abuse LAWN, (I'm reserving this space for some really cruel, cutting, yet funny reply which I can't think of right now because I just woke up). :D 0 Replies | Report Abuse why are you so mean to me? it hurts my feelings 1 Replies | Report Abuse Please tell me you're joking, Lawn. If I thought I'd really hurt your feelings I'd be forced to spank myself. ;) 0 Replies | Report Abuse which answer can i give you that would allow me to do it for you? 1 Replies | Report Abuse LOL. None, Lawn. You'd like that, so in order to make you suffer, I'd have to say no. :p It's the way of the world. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Well then you're just mean. Mean I say!! 1 Replies | Report Abuse :( I've been found out. Darn, there goes my Sweetheart of RT award. Oh, well, there's always next year. :D 0 Replies | Report Abuse Another new one. Jen, I think you need to stay in NY for the summer. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Quite impossible, Lawn. I've got other plans. :D 0 Replies | Report Abuse Other plans?! Fine!!!!!!! 0 Replies | Report Abuse and for good measure !!!!!!!! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Such language is uncalled for and really inappropriate, Matt. For shame. :D You are so damned funny, I swear. 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

No? I can't imagine why. :) It's a great movie, but not one that I would call "enjoyable." 0 Replies | Report Abuse Definitely. I don't only buy "Feel Good" movies, but this is one I'd never miss if I never saw it again. Dustin Hoffman's performance was great; it was subtle, understated, and his eventual "explosion" was very believable. I like that he didn't just turn into SUPERMAN and start bashing everyone with no harm to himself. I can appreciate the fact that this is a VERY good film, a great film, but I still don't like it. 0 Replies | Report Abuse David Warner kicked so much ass in this movie. 1 Replies | Report Abuse I disagree. :) They barely gave him anything to do. I say he kicks ass in TIME AFTER TIME. 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

Don't make a scene; just a quick and merciful death for the as*hole. Hey, your journal made it to the Spotlight page! Very cool. I know a celebrity. 0 Replies | Report Abuse What do you mean? What the heck is a spolight page? Jen confused. 1 Replies | Report Abuse When you click on "The Vine" up at the very top of the RT page, it takes you to what I guess could be best described as the journal/groups homepage. There is a section called "Spotlight" where certain journals are featured. They mostly seem to rotate through the same dozen or so journals, but yours showed up the other day. 1 Replies | Report Abuse oh, ok. I never go there so I had no idea there was such a thing. :) cool. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Why is he an asshole for looking at you? I'd be looking at you if I were there. I think you're too tough on my gender. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Sorry, Lawn, I didn't mean to come off like some conceited ballbuster, but there's a difference between looking and STARING nonstop at a person. Don't tell me that wouldn't make you uncomfortable. It gets creepy after a while. 0 Replies | Report Abuse that's what I meant. If I were there, I'd stare nonstop at you. It would be great. 1 Replies | Report Abuse You are SO bad. :p 0 Replies | Report Abuse I try 1 Replies | Report Abuse I know. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Lawn. Here's some Kavasiah! What do you love? 0 Replies | Report Abuse Are you calling me a drunk?! That's it! You're dead! I'm gonna....wait, I might be a drunk. But up here we call it "University" 1 Replies | Report Abuse Well I feel like attending that University today, so I'm not preaching. :D 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

Okay, you're back. Good!! And I'm so glad you liked Returner. I love that movie. *dances* 1 Replies | Report Abuse It was great, Cira. Please tell me you won't think differently than that!! :p 1 Replies | Report Abuse I shall be painfully honest, Neum. I'll pretend you're holding a chainsaw to my neck. :) 0 Replies | Report Abuse A chainsaw to the neck? Stop trying to turn me on Jenny!! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Sorry, LAWN. I forgot about your chainsaw fetish. Next time I'll just mention the whips and the leather. No more chainsaws. ;) 0 Replies | Report Abuse Can't we have it all? 1 Replies | Report Abuse No, we can't. :) 0 Replies | Report Abuse So The Returner is good? Is it live action or CGI? All the pics on the DVD case look CGI, so I wasn't sure. Everything I've heard about HotD has been bad, so I've avoided it so far...but you know I've got to check it out eventually. ...and you shouldn't mention whips and leather when I'm around. :D 1 Replies | Report Abuse Prospero, it is very good. There are a few CGI things (some of the alien CGI are awfully obvious) but it is great action. I still haven't gotten back to HOTD, but I will do it tonight or tomorrow. Wow, another whips and leather guy. What are the odds? ;) 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

Or D'Onofrio's character in Men In Black (as a contorted alien), or D'Onofrio's character in The Salton Sea (as a noseless, coke-loving drug dealer named "Pooh Bear"). Robinson Crusoe makes your arse hurt? I'm not sure I wanna know the reasons behind this... Glad to see that someone else finally saw My Life Without Me. I sobbed during that movie. Over and over. It was very moving. When she was making those tapes, toward the end, god. I just broke down. 1 Replies | Report Abuse God, yes, it was an incredible movie. I cried countless times and it really hit me because she was diagnosed with the same condition as someone in my family who recently died. I loved that they didn't make it like a typical "chick flick" (I hate that term, but it's a reality) or some real cheesy overdramatic movie a-la-Beaches. It was just an incredibly moving film. I'm going to buy it for myself. Sarah Polley did an incredible job, as did Mark Ruffalo, who had just repulsed me in IN THE CUT. I 0 Replies | Report Abuse You and I are exactly on the same page about The Missing, jen. If on;y they had left out all that mystical crap, especially giving powers to the bad guy. He was such a creep, he had no right to have them. Otherwise, yes, Tommy Lee and Kate were terrific, and that kid was just amazing. I'll be watching for her in the future. I haven't seen the other three, though. I've heard of Mute Witness, and will get around to it one of these days. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Mute Witness, very suspenseful, Prospero. Can't wait for you to see it. I envy you your first viewing. :) 1 Replies | Report Abuse I just saw Mute Witness. Thank you for the recommendation, jen! It's a great suspense movie, with some nice elements of humor worked into it. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Wasn't sure if I really wanted to see The Missing...I find Ron Howard's films are often hard to take...they are incredibly preachy and Hollywoodized, with everything wrapped up in a nice little package at the end. I'll probably rent it some day, but I'm in no rush. Is it true Tommy Lee Jones is pretty much the same character as every other movie he's in, just that he has long hair? 1 Replies | Report Abuse No, I wouldn't say that, meg. He does have this certain way of delivering his lines, but I wouldn't say he was the same as in other films. At least not any that I can remember. Definitely not a pat ending, either. 0 Replies | Report Abuse I've only seen Pieces of April out of those, and we pretty much agree on that. 5/10 for me. Just wrote a review of it earlier today. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Definitely too contrived, right? What upped it a bit for me was Clarkson. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Completely agree. I don't know how most of that could've been considered funny. http://www.rottentomatoes.com//vine/showpost.php?p=3937414&postcount=1539 [/shameless self promotion] :D 1 Replies | Report Abuse |
