So, I'm bit of anal retentive, neo-nazi facist when it comes to spelling. Well mine anyway. I run Mozilla Firefox and have a plug-in on it that will underline words that are misspelled and you can highlight and right click and a list will appear of the correct word.
But that doesn't work all the time and doesn't work on certain web pages (including Journal Entries). And that really pisses me off, because that would be a nifty feature, so that people wouldn't have an excuse to misspell their words incorrectly and not care about it.
I really don't mind it when other people misspell, thats their own business, not mine. But I do care when I misspell, because I'm wondering if they can understand what the fuck I'm typing about since its misspelled.
I can usually catch myself and spell the word correctly without having much trouble. But sometimes, when I feel like being fancy and putting in those 5 and 10 cent words to make the readers think I'm a smart guy I dribble and stumble over the word like a palsy victim playing a game of 1on1 against Lebron James. Just right now, I had trouble spelling the word victim and had to do a yahoo search so they can give me a correct spelling... God I'm so horrible..
But this would be a great feature for me and probably a low percentage of other users that would like this because we wouldn't have to be using other applications to check our spelling. Like Microsoft Word for example. That is mainly used so I can type a word that is misspelled so horribly that you'd think it was Russian and then spell check it for the correct spelling.
So, an update for journal entries. It will help you to help me describe myself better and give a easier understanding with out jumping through all the hoops by using different applications.
