This is one of the few times where I would say...if you don't like this movie, there's something wrong with you.

I know I'm going against the grain here, but I didn't enjoy most of this movie. The acting was really bad. Clint Eastwood was the least bad and as muc... More

It's true what everyone else is saying...if you are not a fan of the first movie there is almost no point in seeing this one. That being said, this sequel is fucking awesome! I say fucking awesome because you can't describe a movie like this with quippy wit and deep philisophical prose. The comedy and it's action are purely seeking out immediate gratification for a very particular audience...not a dumb audience...just a particular one.

Troy Duffy has a great eye for that audience. He understands how to make them laugh and mix that in with slow motion kick-ass action sequences. So, in other words...if you are a fan of this movie, don't be pissed that other people don't like it. It's not for them. Be happy that Mr. Duffy made it to please you. My only issues with the movie were that it was edited poorly in a couple parts. Some scenes just weren't necessary and messed up the flow of the movie. Duffy seemed to be able to do without those scenes in the first one which allowed for consistent action and plot flow in addition to some fun surprises on the DVD bonus features.

Also, as a side note I have to say, really Mr Flanery? You're only in your forties. Was plastic surgery really necessary? I know you missed your young Indiana Jones days but this just makes you look awkward. Oh well, you're still a bad ass in my book.

Lucky! I have to wait for DVD to see this. As much as I love the first movie, I don't want to drive over a hundred miles to the closest theater showing this! Great review, though. You perfectly summed up what this was and who it was meant for.

Thanks man. It does suck when a great movie isn't playing in your area but it actually seems almost more appropriate to see it on DVD given that's how everyone the first one...actually...I don't know...I'm just trying to make you feel better.

i hated how flannery looked all puffy eyed. he was so gorgeous and it took me a while to take him seriously... but god damn.. he's still got it!your review is accurate, it is a fan-based movie that hit every little detail about the first one that we live and breathe for.
