Greatest films ever made, I am talking about the original trilogy here as they are all one film to me. Groundbreaking, spectacular, fun, and nostalgic. The film that changed the way movies were made forever!

The prequels, I also like in many ways. Full of flaws and silly characters and some portions were poorly executed.

BUT, still, a great running storyline with twists and turns, some visual beauty and some great moments. Not up to the standards of the OT at all, but still decent, and theres no other film like them. Pure fantasy and gigantic universe.

The Animated CLONE WARS however i think has outdone the prequels, I actually prefer what the films have spawned in the form of TV and am looking forward to series 2. And the live action series. So the prequels, at least have spawned something better from them.

Damn!!! I gave it 50% just because they bought Dredd to the big screen, and had a few nice toutches such as Hammerstein and Mean angel.

That is where it ends though, after reading many of the comics, the film was piss poor. My only hope is for a film that LOOKS and FEELS like Judge Dredd.

Ron Perlman, should play Dredd!
The costume should look more like it does in the comics, and no silly sidekicks or "I knew youd say that" catchphrases. And Dredd NEVER takes his helmet off!

REBOOT it imediately! Infact, a mocap version like Beowulf would be awesome!

Great film, and very close to what a Batman film should be. BUT, not quite perfect. As a fan of the Batman comics, it falls too far still from the tree.

The game "Arkham Asylum" however has captured the style, costumes and atmosphere that I have been waiting for. 100%

Until the excellent films by Nolan are a thing of the past, and hollywood reboots it again hopefully in the Arkham Asylum style, then TDK will do nicely. As for a "Real" take of Batmans world, it does a great job. Thing is, for me, The real world is restrictive to what can be done. Then again, the not so real world can go too far the other way such as adding superman and silly super hero/villains. Arkham Asylum has found the perfect balance.

Also theres a few glaring flaws in TDK that needed ironing out, such as costume design and some dialogue/action/voice work. ie, why didnt the bank manager spit out the grenade etc. Close still and i look forward to a 3rd.

Hopefully with either Crispin Glover or Michael Sheen as RIDDLER.
TIMOTHY SPALL as PENGUIN
Ron Perlman as Black Mask or Killer Croc.
