Oh dear. I can't even believe such glorious filmmaking is possible. This... where do I start? It's one of the best movies of the year, even one of the best films... More

Undead or Alive (2007)
Agrees With....
Posted on 12/20/07 at 3:35 PM I had forgotten about this movie... Matt Besser is in it and he mentioned it to us at the UCB theatre... not us personally but the theatre as a whole... Chris Kattan was actually a lot better than he has been in more recent things. I was under the assumption that he might turn out to only be good for SNL and Night at the Roxbury, but he was surprisingly tolerable in this. That doesn't mean much though... while the idea was original and it could have been something worthwhile, it just didn't deliver the laughs like I thought it would. I chuckled a few times, but that's about as far as it went. The acting was fine... nothing very special. The characters were fine... nothing all that special. I'm glad I saw it, I had to for MB after all, but I won't be watching it again. The premise of a zombie-western-comedy seemed like it would be hard to mess up, but personally I prefer Shaun of the Dead and will watch that over this if I'm in the mood for a zombie-comedy. |
