His: Not a great sequal, barely manages to be a good one. The movie does a lot of what the first did, offering little that is new. The action is in the end and the film is a half hour too long. Jonny Depp is great, but just doing the samething again. The film, like most mid films in a trilogy, is dark, which sapps the energy and fun out of what you got in the first one. The special effects are first rate, but dont save the film from being a dark, funless, retread. Gets barely a smirk from me. Her: (smacks husband upside head) Ok here's the REAL story behind this movie. It is a very fun movie, that you can watch over and over again. True it is not the classic that the first one became, but it still makes you wanna know what is going to happen in the 3rd film. Most trilogies are like this. My husband SHOULD KNOW THAT! The 2nd film is always the base work, look at Indiana Jones, the 2nd one was stupid...but the 3rd one rocked. Who knows what will happen with this story. The thing about POC is it is an original story, it wasn't adapted by a book like Lord of the Rings. Everything you see on screen is new and fresh. My husband needs to get over himself. It gets a big SMILE from me.

His: Great Bond flick!!! I'm a huge bond fan. My two favorites are Goldfinger and Goldeneye. Now I have another Bond flick to join those two as truly great. The action was great and the film was original as it could be as a bond flick. Daniel Craig is great at playing Bond. Not as smoothe as Brosnan, but tougher. He brings back a little of Connery in his Bond, but makes the character his own still. Judi Dench is always great as M and it was good to have her back to tie the film in with the others. No Moneypenny or Q, but this is a beginnings story, that is what sequals are for. Eva Green played the best bond girl in all the films, in the best love story (yes even better than On Her Majesty's Secret Service). No truly great bond villian, but the rest is so good you can forgive that mistake. A BIG SMILE from me. Her: This was a very loud movie. It freaked out my unborn son, who jumped everytime something exploded. So if you can guess it was hard for me to get really comfortable during this flick. One thing that I had to say about this movie was the car was very hot. Why in the world Bond wrecked it so he wouldn't run over that chick, is beyond me. She isn't worth it! Overall the highlight for me was at the end of the film, when he said his famous line..."Bond James Bond." It gets a small smirk from me.

His: A good film that shows the true meaning of Christmas. The film isn't flashy and doesn't try to hollywodize anything, but is still enjoyable to watch. Warning if you are not a Christian you may find the film to be boring. The perfomances are good and the cinematography is beautiful. Catherine Hardwicke is a little stiff in the dirctors chair but gives a faithful and true if not daring approach. One smile from me. Her:I really enjoyed this film. It really makes you thank God for modern meds. I'm currently pregnant, and seeing the pain of Elizabeth and Mary in child birth is enough to show your teenage daughter why she should wait! My biggest complaint about this movie was when the angels appear to the shepherds. In the bible it says ANGELS! not angel. ( Luke 2: 13-14) It wasn't the big WOO HOOO BABY JESUS IS BORN that I thought it should have been.
