This movie may felt distant, cold and uninvolving at first, but after a few scenes you will warm up to the characters. This one is really a diamond in the rough, was quite slow in the first third, but the last two thirds of the film it becomes a thrilling drama. Just be patient at first, you'll be rewarded.
