It is a very depressing movie, sometimes slow, sometimes moving.

It has some touching scenes, like the ones of Raphael with their children.

Marlon Brando had an ugly and evil character, that I didn't like, he was miscast, he was wasted.

Everything was weird, the story, the music, the direction, the places, the cast.

It is interesting, it shows the difficult life of poor people that do not have so many alternatives to earn money and survive.
