This was largely a waste of time. It's a clear lift of the 1954 Classic; Seven Samurai. Same thing. A handful of good-hearted do-the-right-thing Samurai plot revenge against the evil Lord. There is yet another out-numbered confrontation in a small abandoned village which is a death trap against the 200 soldiers who cant seem to overcome the meager numbers. (Spoiler alert: They don't.)
the end is one long sword-fight that goes on...and on...and on as nearly everyone fights to the death. The problem seems to be that these 200 soldiers can't fight ther way out of a paper bag. This is a brutal, heavy-handed film where it is against liklihood that you will sit through this if you have your high school diploma. Maybe it's my own fault for attending this blood-bath sober.
