    ★★ (out of four)

A mild thriller that is certainly not awful, but it is bland and offers littlein the form of thrills. It's okay for an evening to waste a little time, but don't expect too much, despite the inclusion Jennifer Lawrence on the lead.

Lawrence plays Alyssa. She and her Mom (Elisabeth Shue) have just moved into a new home to make a fresh start. The house next door is the location of a brutal double murder several years ago. Ryan (Max Thieriot) is the young son who still lives in the home.

Ryan and Alyssa meet and become friends, but the murderer may still be lurking in the house and this time Alyssa might be the one who is murdered.

There are some okay elements and Lawrence and Thieriot make a nice couple. But, there just isn't enough thrills or chills.
