    January Movies

Tonight i see The Dilemma. It has a good cast and Ron Howard has directed but I'm dreading this is just another bad January movie. I see The Green Hornet tomorrow and the same dread is coming over me. January movies almost always suck and always end up on my worst picture list. Is January just a way of saying it will get better. Lets set that bar low enough. Last year's Leap Year was horrible. It was the first movie i saw for 2010 and it ended up right there on my worst list. My writing partner thinks January movies should just be scrapped and I'm ready to agree with him but Ron Howard and Seth Rogan makes me think this year might be different. I'll know soon enough and if they are really bad I'll hold on to the fact that 2011 looks awesome as the year progresses.
