Filled with negative reviews I went to see spiderman 3 and suprisingly I liked it.
Sure there were some glitches here and there but then again what movie doesn't have its mistakes.I have never been a huge spidey fan,my favorite has been for all my life is batman and I think batman begins is the best superhero movie made so far without a doubt.
I always liked to watch heros in their own respective movies and there have been some terrible movies I've watched so far which include fantastic four,hulk and ghostrider.
Spiderman was never an idiootic story but I never liked spiderman 1 but spiderman 2 was ok for me,again it lacked something.Spidey in his third outing I think has done extremely well and I have to say its my favorite so far and by far the best finale in a superhero movie franchise.X3 though again was not bad but director brett ratner seriously missed some fine points to make it a memorable one.
Why I like spidey 3,coz it was never boring.There was humour,superb action sequences and even a nice touching story.I really liked harry and peter joinning forces in the final battle,and sandman's story was also touching and well crafted.Peter's dance moves will definetely put a smile to ur face and J.J.Jameson is hilarious as ever.
Sure there were minuses such as peter crying,which was bad and editing and music was not good as when danny elfman was there.In the beginning it felt like there were too many stories involved but it all tied up nicely.They could have included more venom and it was not the venom we're used to but still the parts venom was present were great.Gwen stacey's role was I thought a bit unnessasary since her role had no purpose.
I think in my mind this was a good movie.Tobey maguire is not christian bale and we cannot expect him to act like him,spiderman never had a serious storyline and we cannot expect it to have one like in batman begins but.........all in all it's a good movie and so far the best in spiderman series.Understand the hero and watch,it's not memorable but u'll definetely enjoy it.
