After reading all of the reviews and opinions about this movie I was prepared to be disappointed. But once again the snobberatzi was wrong about this movie. It was entertaining, it was fun and it was worth taking the time to go see it in the Theater. Of course, only you know what kind of movies you like. If you liked the previous Mummy movies then this movie tries very hard to capture the feel and fun of those movies. Nothing serious, mummies don't exist and the characterizations are cartoonish - but isn't that what these movies are supposed to be? If you feel like every aspect of the previous Mummy movies need to be recreated then you'll be disappointed. There is no desert, there are no Egyptian mummies or characters here. Instead we have Chinese mummies and that's pretty darn cool. Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh , Russell Long and Isabella Leong bring the Chinese characters to life and bring depth to the story which Brendon Frasier and Company run through. Fun, non stop action, great effects and importantly - one of those movies that will be something you leave on the TV when you flip through the channels to watch something. Comfortable and worthy of the series. Don't listen to the naysayers if you liked the first ones, go see it while it's in the Theater.
