Resident Evil: Extinction was a great movie, I felt the movie was a little short at around 90 minutes. Anybody would probebly feel that way these days with movies generally being around two to three hours long, heck even "Knocked Up" ran around two hours and for a comedy thats pretty long. Imagine yourself in a world that has practicly destroyed itself thanks to a massive corperation thinkin it can play god.
You find yourself looking for what survivers are left, where would you go. Well I would choose a place that has a lot of people in it usually, lets say Seattle, or San Fransisco, or maybe Dallas. Nope the movie takes us into the middle of the desert with Las Vegas. Hmmm, definitly not my choice of a good post apocalyptic vacation, but I didnt get paid to write the movie. Anyways long story short Alice comes into her prime...even further powers and she kicks more ass against the undead and Umbrella Corp.
I dont want to say much more beyond that because this movie is an experience that every person who has loved the video games, and also have been dissapointed by the moveis till now. Its a very enjoyable action film, and this time around you can actually see the zombies in their rotten corpse glory, instead of that blury cam thing in the second movie. Get some pop corn and get reminded why you enjoyed the Resident Evil franchise. This movie hits the heart of it!
