Ouch! But a low rating was expected from Catwoman. I never expected Ballistic to get low ratings though and I haven't seen that movie. 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

I heard that there's going to be a sequel for this. 1 Replies | Report Abuse I don't think it is really a sequel. I heard it was a dance instruction video teaching kids how to dance like the people in "You Got Served." If I remember correctly, it was titled "You Got Served: Take it to the Streets" and is only about an hour. 0 Replies | Report Abuse oohhhhhhhh. 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

Finally! I'm glad that someone else realizes that Cube is actually really good. Most people hate it, but I truly enjoyed it. Another thing - please DON'T stay away from the sequels! I haven't seen Cube 2: Hypercube yet, but I did see Cube Zero and I thought it was really good - it's the prequel to Cube. It added another twist in the whole story of Cube, and it gives you even more to think about. Also, I didn't think Two for the Money was all that bad. It at least deserved a 5/10...a 4 is pretty 1 Replies | Report Abuse Two for the Money was OKAY, but it was so okay, so by the numbers, that I thought a 4/10 was a perfect rating. It's what I usually give most cliche Hollywood films. 1 Replies | Report Abuse ah yes, i understand. good rational reasoning you've got there. it was cliche, but i liked Pacino - he's always good. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Good luck with the internship - it sounds like a pretty good match! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Yeah, my first day was excellent. I get to work on a documentary film called "Blood and Oil," based on the book by Michael Klare. We're going to do a long interview with him (since he'll be the only talking head), and it's my job to find all the media images for the final cut. They have been archiving the primetime news for ABC, CBS, NBC, FoxNews, and CNN since 2001. There will be a lot of stuff to go through, but I know it will be worth it once I get to see some of my work in a real documentary 1 Replies | Report Abuse That is terrific!!! Wow. Well, I hope you have some fun and learn lots! 0 Replies | Report Abuse "Cube 2: Hypercube" is practically the same as "Cube". You're not missing on anything. Oh, "Queen of the Damned" definitely is the best movie ever made. UGH! 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

Who would pay to see this movie? 1 Replies | Report Abuse Funny you should say that. I snuck into it after paying to see "Hostel" (who would pay to see THAT movie!?) and sneaking into "Rumor Has It." 2 Replies | Report Abuse Oh, haha. I did that with "House of Wax" and I actually liked it. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Oddly, I snuck into "Hostel" after paying to see this. 0 Replies | Report Abuse I was waiting to see BloodRayne but now I won't. 1 Replies | Report Abuse It's a good time, but Uwe Boll can't adapt a videogame. But here are the $2 million questions: 1) Could anyone? 2) Should anyone? 0 Replies | Report Abuse I could try because...I dunno...I have hope. Should I? I should try THEN we can see ;) 1 Replies | Report Abuse I like it, only because it's so bad... 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

i don't understand the hatred for "revolutionary road." i thought it was amazing and truthful. hmph...? :( 1 Replies | Report Abuse I feel like Revolutionary Road would have been good in the 50s, perhaps. You are so wrong, and I am so annoyed with your misinformed statements. Larry Clark is a great director, truly one of the boldest and most important of our time. It is impossible for him to make such thought-provoking films if he is not a "smart man" and doesn't understand what the film is saying. Impossible. By the way, (as per our conversation yesturday) Clark did not write Another Day in Paradise. He DID, however, write the story to Kids and Harmony Korine wrote the screenpla 1 Replies | Report Abuse Obviously, he is smart enough to make two of the best films I have ever seen. He definitely understood what they were about. But I get a Sin City feeling about him now. They said something strong about sexism while making a blatantly sexist film. Larry Clark does the same with damaged youth, but then he makes a film that damages youth. He is a hypocrite. I don't care why he made Teenage Cavemen. He sucks for it. Period. And I stand behind my previous accusation. He is a deranged pervert. This wi 1 Replies | Report Abuse No deal. You are an wrong. This makes me so sad. He didn't make a film that damages youth. Stop. I don't know - the horror genre this year has been hit and miss for me. I was pleased with SAW V and FUNNY GAMES was decent if too implausible, but HOUSE just looked boring even in the trailer. I hope you didn't waste too much money on this flop. I did wonder if it was a remake of the '80's horror film by the same name. If it is...then I would have warned you not to bother. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Nothing to do with the 80s flick. But please please please see Let the Right One In!!!!! 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

I find it hard to blame the actors when the directing isn't good... and even in the Egoyan films that I've liked, I would never call him an actors' director....

It is an interesting concept. If a director does indeed tell the performers what to do, then they are essentially giving the director their trust. I just don't think Alison Lohman should have trusted Atom Egoyan. Ha-ha, she should have realized what she was doing!

You may be right! I think it can work both ways though - there are lots of actors that give absolutely great performances for Woody Allen, while being nothing but average in everything else they do...

I'm glad you brought up Woody Allen. I'm pretty sure he is my favorite director. Just recently with Match Point, I have never liked Jonathan Rhys-Meyers in anything I have ever seen him in, but I thought he gave one of the best performances of last year. Do I think he did it all on his own? Of course not. It's clear that Woody directed him to do so. BUT Woody also directed Will Ferrell in Melinda and Melinda, which moreso proves my previous theory. Will Ferrell should have stopped and said, "I'm
