transformers is a movie i couldn't wait too see, I grew up watching the cartoons and then the movie in 1986. the original gen 1 transformers were the best without question, that said,why did the movie suck so bad? the only transformers that resembled the old ones were optimus and bumblebee the rest looked like metal spiders. I think this movie was geared toward twelve year olds because i hated it and i'm closing in on 30. problem one.. the horrible dialogue, did megatron really have to wake up and say... "i am megatron" no shit! thanks for the info. optimus prime saying "my bad" that was just gay and why are alien robots surfing ebay? problem two... how do giant robots hide from just about everybody? that was ridiculous. problem three... the fight between megatron and prime, wtf!!! optimus gets his ass kicked without any comebacks then wants to kill himself with the allspark, did prime just suddenley become a pussy when he saw megatron? in the 1986 movie optimus basically beat megatron to death and died in the process at least that was honorable, this time he gets thrown around like a piece of scrap and a teeny tiny human kills megatron,very very weak!!!!!!! problem four ... they left it open for a horrible sequel, i guess now they get to ruin soundwave the dinobots, the insecticons, blaster, lazerbeak, astrotrain, hot rod and cup. please please get james cameron, michael bay sucks!!!! till then see you at the movies.
